West Street Dog, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard personal information when you visit www.weststreetdog.com (the “Site”), use our booking platform, or obtain pet care services from us at 400 W. North Street, Unit 110, Raleigh, North Carolina (the “Services”).

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT. We collect the following categories of information:
(a) Information you provide. Your name, email address, telephone number, mailing and billing address, emergency contact information, payment information, purchase and appointment history, account login credentials for our booking platform, information about your pet (including breed, age, health, vaccination records, veterinarian, behavior history, and dietary and medication requirements), and any communications you send to us.

(b) Information collected automatically. When you use the Site or our booking platform, we and our service providers may collect your IP address, device and browser information, cookie data, approximate location, pages viewed, search terms, time stamps, and usage data.

(c) Information collected at our facility. We operate video recording equipment within portions of our facility for safety, security, and operational purposes. Recordings may capture you, your pet, and other individuals present.

(d) Information from third parties. Our booking and payment platform providers, payment processors, and analytics providers may collect information about you and share it with us in accordance with their own privacy policies.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION. We use the information we collect to provide and administer the Services; to schedule, confirm, and manage appointments and boarding stays; to evaluate your pet’s eligibility and safety in a group care environment; to process payments and issue invoices; to communicate with you about your account, your pet, and any incident involving your pet; to obtain or facilitate veterinary care; to maintain the safety and security of our facility, our staff, our customers, and the animals in our care; to investigate, document, defend, and resolve incidents, complaints, and claims; to comply with legal obligations; and, where you have opted in, to send you marketing and promotional communications.

3. HOW WE DISCLOSE YOUR INFORMATION. We may disclose personal information as follows:

(a) To our service providers and contractors, including our booking platform, payment processors, and analytics providers, who are obligated to keep the information confidential and use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it.

(b) To veterinarians and veterinary facilities in connection with the care or treatment of your pet.

(c) To our insurers, legal counsel, and professional advisors.

(d) To law enforcement, animal control, and public health authorities, including in connection with a bite, injury, or other incident.

(e) To any person asserting a claim relating to an incident at our facility, or to that person’s legal representative, to the extent we deem necessary or appropriate to investigate or resolve the claim.

(f) To comply with any court order, subpoena, law, or legal process, or to respond to a government or regulatory request.

(g) To enforce our agreements with you, including our Waiver, Assumption of Risk, Release of Liability, Indemnity, and Services Agreement, and for billing and collection.

(h) To a buyer or successor in the event of a merger, sale, restructuring, or transfer of some or all of our assets.

(i) With your consent, or for any other purpose disclosed to you at the time you provide the information.

We may disclose aggregated or de-identified information that does not identify any individual without restriction. We do not sell your personal information.

4. VIDEO RECORDINGS. Video recordings are retained only for the period our systems retain them in the ordinary course of business and are overwritten automatically thereafter. Camera coverage is not comprehensive and we do not represent that any particular event will be recorded or retained. We are not obligated to provide recordings to customers, and any decision to do so is voluntary and made case by case. We may preserve and disclose recordings in connection with an incident, claim, insurance matter, or legal process.

5. COMMUNICATIONS AND YOUR CHOICES. By providing your telephone number or email address, you agree to receive communications from us relating to your account, your appointments, your pet, and the Services, including by email, text message, telephone call, and platform message. This includes marketing and promotional messages, which we may send unless and until you opt out. You may opt out of marketing and promotional text messages at any time by replying STOP to any such message, and you may opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link. Your consent to receive marketing messages is not a condition of obtaining our Services, and opting out will not affect your access to them. Even if you opt out of marketing communications, we will continue to send you transactional and service-related communications.

You may set your browser to refuse or alert you to cookies, although some features of the Site may not function properly as a result.

6. ACCESSING AND CORRECTING YOUR INFORMATION. You may review and update your account information through our booking platform, or contact us using the information below to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information you have provided. We may decline a request where we believe the change would violate a legal requirement, would render the information inaccurate, or where we are required or permitted to retain the information, including in connection with an actual or anticipated claim. 7. DATA SECURITY. We use commercially reasonable administrative, physical, and technical measures designed to protect your information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. Where you have a password for our booking platform, you are responsible for keeping it confidential. Transmission of information over the internet is not completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted to us.

8. CHILDREN. Our Site and Services are intended for individuals eighteen (18) years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date of the most recent revision appears at the top of this document. Your continued use of the Site or the Services following any change constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
